We support our clients on a range of projects, here's an insight into what we've been up to recently.
We delivered a workshop for the creative team and chaperones for Oliver! to help build confidence and understanding and deliver best practice, when supporting neurodivergent child performers. The training covered common neurodivergent conditions, creating safe spaces (from rehearsal rooms, to dressing rooms and backstage), and practical support, including inclusive frameworks and language, costume adjustments, supporting stims and tics, and general access considerations.
In-line with the recent law changes, we've been supporting our clients with anti-sexual harassment training. We recently delivered Dignity in the Workplace training for the Cameron Mackintosh LTD Head Office, which alongside preventing sexual harassment, also covered how to protect dignity in the workplace, and support positive, safe working cultures.
Our EDI audits are designed to both diagnosis the problem and deliver ideas for effective solutions that are bespoke to your specific organisation. We delivered an EDI and Culture audit for a hospice charity who wanted to establish their strengths and areas for improvement. Our report put forward suggestions and a targeted EDI action plan for the hospice's internal EDI committee to deliver.
Board away day's a great way for Trustee's to engage with EDI at a governance level. We ran sessions for the board at Chichester Festival Theatre, delivering updates on the work we'd delivered internally, training on inclusive board practice, how other organisations are currently engaging with EDI, and what to be mindful of as a charity (under the Charity Governance Code).
We excel in presenting to large audiences, frequently moderating and speaking on panel discussions, podcasts and more. We facilitated a post-show discussion for Marie and Rosetta, interviewing Beverley Knight and Ntombizodwa Ndlovu, who received nominations for both the UK Theatre awards and the Black British Theatre awards.
